Up To The Cross (Heptonstall)
Heptonstall is a small, hillside village in West Yorkshire, full of character and former home of the poet, Ted Hughes. Sylvia Plath, the poet to whom he was married before her untimely, tragic death, is buried in a nearby churchyard.
This is a view up the main street towards the pub, The Cross, captured in the dramatic light before a storm.
