The Pegsdon Hills, Hertfordshire, UK, form the eastern edge of the chain of chalk hills known as the Chilterns. It is an ancient place, with the Bronze- Age route of the Icknield Way running across its top. This scene depicts a flock of sheep grazing upon one of its flanks with a mist descending.
